Tania is uniquely placed to lead the educational process with the young people. Hailing from the young people’s home district of Ccorca, Tania has unrivalled local knowledge which has enabled her to play an instrumental role in the development of Meet My World since it first began in 2011.
One of Amantani’s Co-Founders, Fred first visited Peru in 2007. Over the course of the last 12 years, he has worked to develop Amantani, leading the overall organisational strategy and management. He has been central to the development of Meet My World since 2011.
Chris has always had a passion for South America, where his roots lie. Having spent eight years with Amantani, he now leads on all activities in the UK, which includes delivering Meet My World screenings far and wide.
Having grown up in Peru, Thilo started his career as a practitioner in Youth and Community Development work in Lima. In the UK, as a Senior Research Fellow at Leicester De Montfort University, he worked on several research projects exploring the impact of social policy on social exclusion and social capital within national and international contexts. Thilo has been with Amantani since May 2014, and has been instrumental in developing, planning and leading the Transitions Project.
Martha is a lecturer, filmmaker and post-doctoral fellow at the University of Bern. She completed her PhD in Social Anthropology with Visual Media at the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology in 2015. She is a researcher in residence at the Summer School at The Futureworks School of Media in Manchester, where she specialises in participatory and collaborative filmmaking methods and editing support.
